Taylor County currently employs more than 500 individuals in over 30 departments. We offer a wide variety of challenging employment opportunities in the fields of law enforcement, road and bridge construction, legal records management, general administration and operations, and other areas.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are applying for ANY position in the Taylor County Sheriff's Office (TSCO) (deputy, jailer, 911 dispatcher, records clerk, etc.):
You MUST complete the TCSO Cover Page AND the Personal History Statement (PHS), in addition to the Taylor County Employment Application before your application will be accepted.
You do not have to fill out the Personal History Statement for any other county job openings - only for the TSCO positions.
To get the TSCO forms, click on the 'Employment Process' tab on the left-hand side of this page and then click on 'Application Process'.
Do not sign the PHS pages that need to be notarized. The HR Office can notarize them for you when you bring in the application.
Completed applications can be mailed, faxed, emailed, or dropped off at the HR Office on the 2nd floor of the Taylor County Courthouse.
Please refer to our website or the Jobs Board outside the HR Office for the most current job postings. Jobsthat still appear on Monster.com, etc, may already be closed by the County. All job postings are subject to removal or modification at any time. We will accept applications for open positions only.
