Application Process

You may download and print the Taylor County Employment Application. PLEASE NOTE: If you are applying for ANY position in the Taylor County Sheriff's Office (TSCO) (deputy, jailer, 911 dispatcher, records clerk, LVN, etc.) -

You MUST complete the TCSO Cover Page AND the Personal History Statement (PHS), in addition to the Taylor County Employment Application above before your application can be accepted. There 3 pages in the PHS that need to be notarized. The Human Resources Office can notarize those pages for you when you turn in your application.

You do not have to fill out the Statement for any other county positions - just for the Sheriff's Office.

  • All employment applications must be filled out completely and signed to be accepted. A high school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement for employment with Taylor County.
  • Applications will be accepted for open positions only.
