On Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9 a.m., the Taylor County Commissioners' Court will conduct a public hearing regarding the District Clerk Records Technology Fund Plan and County Clerk Records Archive Plan. The funds generated from the collection of a fee under Government Code Subchapter D, Chapter 51, Sec. 51.305 4(f) may be expended only for preservation and restoration of the District Clerk's records archive. The funds generated from the collection of a Records Archive fee under Local Government Code, Section 118.011(f) may be expended only for preservation and restoration of services in the County Clerk's records archive.
Any person interested in making a comment must fill out a public comment form attached on the website of the date of which the hearing will take place located on the homepage calendar of events by Monday at 3 p.m. prior to the court date or submit in person to the office prior to the meeting in the Commissioners' Courtroom on the 1st floor of the 1915 Taylor County Courthouse, 301 Oak St., Abilene, TX on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in order the be heard.
